Can you post a pic (or a link to a pic, rather) of your device manager? It will help to see what has already been caught....and what was missed. Also, do you have anything "extra" attached like a Wireless card (Mini-pci or PCMCIA)?

You need to load the sound-drivers to get rid of the 82801CA error.

The other two (I would guess) could be your USB ports.

I know that for Win XP at least one of those unknowns are eliminated by installing ACPI power management. I guess it does not hurt to try in win2k.

Come to think of it.
I ran into the ACPI issue on my T22 on W2k, chances are that will fix one of them.
The other is the sound driver.
Get those 2 loaded and lets see what is left

I'll try to pull out my T23 in the morning, and compare the two device manager windows...

- the power managment driver took care of one of the unknow devices.
- the sound driver is already installed, i have double checked by reinstalling it
- i still have one unknown device left and one unknown PCI device.

Also in Win XP the modem is a usual contributor of those unknown PCI devices. Again it will not hurt if you give a try in win2k.
