Can't get past "checking the status of the imbedded sec

I downloaded and installed a firewall program called "COMMODO" then I restarted my T4 and I get no further than the "Please Wait" window with red dots running back and forth. Is there a quick & dirty way to get passed this and into Windows??

Duane, welcome to forum. (Been lurking for three years, eh?)

I experienced this exact same issue with an earlier version of Comodo. However, it has been resolved with subsequent releases that have been running on my T43 (with fingerprint reader).

If you can furnish some additional information, I may be able to help you here.

- Your operating system
- Version of Comodo you installed
- Brand and version of anti-virus you are using

In general, when you install a firewall product that extends deeply into the OS kernel, you need to shut down EVERYTHING. In your case, you may need to uninstall Comodo in Safe Mode, then download a fresh copy and reinstall the latest version.

But, first, furnish the information I requested above, and we'll take it from there.
