Second Display

I have a second monitor plugged in and I am trying to get Vista to detect it so that I can use two monitors at once. Any suggestions on how to make it detect the second monitor? I have tried everything...I think.

Perhaps if someone has a procedure that would help.

Put this to bed as well.

Upgraded the display drivers on the T30 to ATI Radeon 9000 and all is well with dual displays.
