Bluetooth Devices Uninstalled After Clean Install +Vista

#1 Post by bpsss » Mon Jun 30, 2008 4:57 pm

Sorry if this has already been discussed. I have completed a clean install of Vista on a T61. There are three bluetooth peripheral devices left uninstalled; I have done this install a few times and these devices are always uninstalled. On an XP Pro install this is not the case.

I cannot track down the drivers, and as this is a clean install....it can't be anything that I have added. Any ideas?

Thanks

If you press Fn+F5 then Windows Vista would install it's own drivers.

Alternatively you can find drivers from lenovo's website:

Bluetooth with Enhanced Data Rate Software for Windows Vista - ThinkPad.

It's very important that you read the installation instructions.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.
