Safari browser seems so much faster on T23 than Firefox
Is it me or is Safari the fastest browser on these older laptops ?
I loaded Safari the other day and noticed it feels quicker on my T23...
Maybe the latest Firefox 3 and IE7 are just getting too bloated for these older laptops....

Safari for the PC came out about a year ago...
I load it on my 600x's and my T23 and noticed how much faster sites would load over the new Firefox. Sites that have flash or java tend to take longer on firefox3 or ie7 to fully load over Safari... at least on these older laptops... on a modern pc you probably would not notice...
I guess you could use older versions of Firefox but they do not get security updates ....

Direct from the Apple Safari download page, "Safari is the fastest web browser on any platform." So there you have it.
Only trouble is the windows system specs:
Windows XP or Vista
At least 256MB of RAM
500Mhz Pentium-class processor or better
I've been looking for a modern browser that I can use on a Windows 95 OSR2 machine with 200Mhz CPU and 64MB RAM.
