Heads up: Hardware incompatibility for Cardbus device

Fellow Thinkers and Padders,

I just ran across a potentially nasty 'Gotcha!' in the form of a Cardbus incompatibility with the T61. I'm posting this in the hope that it will help others to avoid similar situations.

Specifically -- I have found that the combination serial/parallel card, product code CBRP, sold by...

...does NOT work with the T61. The system doesn't even recognize that a card has been plugged in.

If you need a serial & parallel port for your system, I think it's probably better to go with the "official" Lenovo UltraBay module which provides that functionality.
