X61 fingerprint sensor for scrolling?

#1 Post by Anastasius » Sun Jul 06, 2008 5:33 am

Reading reviews for HP tablet PCs I found that its fingerprint sensor can be used for scrolling (zooming) etc. Is it possible to do the same trick on Lenovo X61? :?:

Never heard that work on a thinkpad. ... unless HP has a different sort of scanner altogether.

I used to use the trackpad on my T42 as a "signature" pad for a while, but nothing fancy with the fingerprint scanner.

I thought I had come across this topic before. After some careful searching:

I tried looking at the UPEK site for the download but couldn't come across anything. Let me know how you make out.
