7" UMPC with integrated DVD drive

Nice piece of technology http://www.kohjinsha.com.sg/products/sr.htm :) 1.1 kg including battery, 1024x600, 60 GB HDD.

800MHz CPU coupled with Vista looks rather...well, slow, I guess. I Googled the CPU code and it seems to be not too dissimilar to what powered the original EEE PCs (512KB L2 cache, 400MHz FSB). Which would seem to indicate that on paper, it's a slug.

Looks nice.Way better then the Asus EEE PC .
But i wonder how well or fast Vista run's on it with only a 800Mhz cpu and 1 gig ram(max) for that system.
Put XP Pro on it and it will be nice.

Probably on par with the original EEE in appearance IMO - the buttons on either side of the LCD appear to be related to the tablet functionality. A larger 9ish" LCD would make it look better, even if it means no tablet.
