Running at 598mhz with AC in!

#1 Post by kunfuchopsticks » Mon Jul 07, 2008 10:09 pm

My CPU for X41 runs at only 598mhz with AC in. I have it set to 'Highest Performance' in Thinkvantage power manager.

anyone know how I can get it to run at full speed of 1.5Ghz?

Set the CPU performance in BIOS to "Fixed Max", and run a hungry application like Photoshop...

Also, Google around for utility called Speedswitch XP and download it.

Hope this helps.

No, that's fine. Speedstep takes care of that...
