Is there a extended battery for the X2 series?

I know that the X3* series had the extended battery that can attach to the docking port on the bottom, like in the pic below:

Did IBM make such a battery for the X2 series? Infact, is there any other battery that can give more battery time apart from the standard one that comes with the laptop itself?
Now: T60 2613-EKU | T23 2647-9NU | 600X 2645-9FU | HP 100LX
Past: X31 2673-Y13 | T41 2374-3HU | T22 2647-AEU

Is an external battery an option? I find the idea of them appealing after getting the battery wedge for the x6, which I found overpriced, especially considering the tip system of such devices should let you use the external battery with all your laptops, as well as USB and options for almost anything else you need when outlets are unavailable.

Here's a thread with some linkage that you may find at least interesting: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t=53122. FYI, the folks at batterygeek and Sarrio were both extremely responsive to my emails, if not very informative, considering its rather easy to figure out hours of use if you know your laptop's watt usage by hour. Still, their level of service was excellent.
