bad colors on LCD

Hi!
After getting good advice on upgrading the hdd on my x20,
I have another question.
Some colors aren't displayed correctly on the LCD display -
instead of showing the real color they look pinkish or light blue.
It seems that the problem is not related to the graphics card since
it doesn't occur when I connect an external diaply. Does anyone have an idea what the problem is?
