Hi and thanks for reading,
I have the Thinkvantage Power Manager utility installed on my Thinkpad and it used to work fine. Not so long ago, however, it has stopped working - I can not tie this to a particular event on my system but it suddenly stopped working.
The symptom is that I can see all my settings, the Power Manager Gauge is there and I can see the profiles when I open the Power Manager. However, changing the profiles does not take any effect when done in the Power Manager. Switching profiles in the standard Windows XP Power Options dialogue works.
I have tried uninstalling the Thinkvantage Power Manager and reinstalling it - to no effect. I would really appreciate if any of you could give me some help on this issue.
Best wishes,
Steve
