My X41 Shut OFF When I Press On Back! 56k Warning

While switching out the leyboard I have discovered a serious problem.


Everytime I press on a certain area of the underside of the notebook, it immedalty shuts down. That area is right over the middle bottem keyboard screw.

unacceptable to have something like that on a Thinkpad.

Anyway, I stripped the notebook, and reassembled it. Now it's perfectly fine. I wonder what was up before?!

could be anything... bad contact anywhere. glad that its gone..
