My X41 Shut OFF When I Press On Back! 56k Warning

#1 Post by kunfuchopsticks » Tue Jul 15, 2008 2:58 pm

While switching out the leyboard I have discovered a serious problem.

Everytime I press on a certain area of the underside of the notebook, it immedalty shuts down. That area is right over the middle bottem keyboard screw.

any ideas?

unacceptable to have something like that on a Thinkpad.

Anyway, I stripped the notebook, and reassembled it. Now it's perfectly fine. I wonder what was up before?! :x
