R 40 prob.

My R40 was running good, then on boot it said Fan error and would not Boot again ? I cleaned the fan & heat sync but still wont show any sign's of life??? Anyone ???? Jim D.

Sounds like your fan has failed.

Can you hit ESC after the error appears to continue the boot process?

If it never booted again after "fan error" message you can most likely kiss that motherboard "goodbye"...
