T41 keyboard key fell off

i just got my new T41 and i love it. i am running ubuntu 8.04. but..... my Alt key fell off.and now i am stuck with a key and three small black pieces and no idea how to put them back. any ideas???????? can i bring them to my local computer shop and can they fix it????

There apparently are two different styles of T41 key assemblies:

Given the closeup pictures in each, maybe you can figure out how to put it back together. You could also (carefully) pry off an adjoining keycap and see how it's put together. I have setup a web page for a T23 keyboard but these two look different:

Actually, there is a very fine installation guide in the first link Ray pointed to (for the "Type A" keys); maybe that is also useful for "Type B" keys? The guide is --> here.

I posted a YouTube video of how to replace keys (I found it trying to replace my arrow key) and posted the results here somewhere.

T30 2366-61U dead mobo
T30 2366-81U still works but not being currently used. I think I'll rectify that situation.
T40 2373-19U dead
(2) T42 2373-JXU with Flexview LCDs. One with either GPU or southbridge issue.
T43 2687-D4U with possible software problem. Awaiting R&Rs.
