HELP! T41 needs drivers

hello. i just got my new T41 so i put XP on it for now and nothing works. no wifi (but bluetooth works) no audio and no ethernet. i tried the ones from IBM< and none of them work???? any ideas?????
i installed all of the drivers that i needed but there is no result. my track pad does not work either only the track point.

please help.

use this.

If you don't have .net 2.0 click on here...

http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

go to the manual downloads and go download .net 2.0 on the

optional downloads menu

Also, don't forget to unpack the drivers from their appropriate directories after downloading them, for Ethernet that would be: C>Drivers>Win>Ethernet

Did you remember to run the executable files after you extracted the drivers to your drive?

EDIT: Well I guess I need to learn to type faster.

I would like to say he forgot to run the .exe files. I made that same mistake a few years ago when I got my first T22.

nope i ran the .exe files. i will try the files later

for me to do this i have to be connected to the internet to the the system update. i am uber confused. but ubuntu internet works fine.
any thoughts
