t43 boot issue

I had to try 5 time to get past the message:
operating system not found. Is this a drive going bad?

Welcome to the forum!

Change the boot mode in BIOS from quick to "diagnostics" and see whether the hard drive is "seen" during boot.

Report any progress or lack thereof...
