Caddy and HDD are PATA type.

Are you sure it'll fit in a T6x series? I thought they used SATA connections and therefore the SATA version of the HDD adapter?

I can answer this question for you.
It will work in both T4X and T6X.
Actually the 2nd HDD adapter for T6X will also work with T4X if you get rid of the extra piece on the back.

HDD is 5400 rpm

The HDD is Fujitsu not Toshiba. Model is MHV2060AS.

That's a nice drive. It might even work in a T43 without the 2100 error.

Knock-off; there are several copies of the adapter available on eBay that look like the genuine IBM part, but are just copies. Although, I believe they work the same, the fit and finish may vary.

If you bought it from IBM, for instance, it's probably genuine!

I bought this from eBay. But there is Lenovo sticker with P/N and S/N on it.
