TVSU refuses to update

The TVSU gives me this message when I try to update my thinkpad:

"There is not enough disk space to preform the current task"

I´m running Vista(U) and never had this problem. Frameworks 3 and 3.5 are installed. The TVSU stops at 16-17% before displaying the error message.

My machine: T60p, 3 GB ram, 100 gb (s)hdd.
