Okay, Harryc explained the existence of the 3rd antenna cable.

Well, I think this error sounds worse than it actually is. ;)
If you install a unapproved drive in your T43 the only indicator for that error is a massage during the boot up. If you didn't select in the BIOS Setup menu -> Startup -> Boot after message for Hard drive the boot up won't go on, otherwise you only hear a short beep, that's all. So however, buy you any IDE hard drive and life with this tiny tiny flaw. (I am not quit sure saying that this way in English is correct, but I hope you get the idea. :D)

Yes, but wasn't this one of things to consider ? I am talking about the BIOS update which will remove the 2010 error with putting all the responsibility on the customer. Looks like many people are using aftermarket drives and they live with this error w/o any data loss, so only thing was to let them cancel this warning permanently.
