Windows Vista Downgrade to XP

#1 Post by Andrew T » Sun Jul 20, 2008 12:58 am

Hey guys,

I am looking to purchase an R61. I hate windows Vista so I was wondering what exactly the "Downgrade Windows Vista Business to XP" means. That's one of the choices you have when you select an OS. Is that just fancy talk for XP professional?

Vista Business and Ultimate include the right to downgrade to XP Pro. Technically you'd be buying Vista Business which Lenovo would downgrade for you. If at some point in the future if you decide you like Vista you can upgrade. I've been running Vista on one my desktops. It's gotten a lot better since Service Pack 1 was released.
