mini PCI card compatibility on a 600X

#1 Post by landsmarra » Mon Jul 21, 2008 9:14 pm

Hello to all!

Any ideas if this card would work in a 600X:

I'm not sure exactly what's different about an "MSI-certified" laptop but having wifi and bluetooth on one card would be nice--provided you can fit three antennas in the laptop!

Thanks,
Steve

The bluetooth is probably switched on/off in an unusual manner, or maybe even connected in an unusual manner (ie using pins that aren't usually used on normal laptops). Basically don't count on the bluetooth working.

I would also be concerned about it physically fitting into the slot. It seems taller than the original modem, and there's not much room to spare.
