T22 seating the ram properly

I recently got a T22 and thought it wasn't working because the ram went bad but I now know it was the seating of the ram everything appears like it is seating properly but it just isn't connecting even if I push down on the ram to connect it it gives me the 3-3-1 beep and occasionally if I fiddle around with it enough it will start is there some trick to seating the ram on these t22s? Thanks
