When the AT&T WLAN connection is dropped, Access Connections (v.4.52 for Vista) won't reconnect unless I reboot, in which case Access Connections drops the WLAN connection again after 20 minutes.
If I try to reconnect using the WLAN tab on the ThinkVantage Wireless Connection Status applet, the applet will not show the WLAN radio as powered on no matter how many times I hit the turn on radio button. (However, the LED for the WLAN radio is lit while this is occurring)
When Access Connections drops the WLAN connection, I can always turn on the AT&T applet that was pre-loaded and connect. I therefore conclude that this is an Access Connections issue rather than a hardware issue of some kind.
Access Connections has no problem maintaining connections to any A or G WiFi with WPA, WPA2 or WPA/IPSec security, or with no security at an open hotspot.
Does any forum participant have an ideas on how to get Access Connections to maintain the connection to the AT&T WLAN?
