Automatic Lcd backlight dimming

have you guys experience the the Lcd baklight will automatically dim itself when i lock it (Win key + L),?

upon logon , the backlight would becoming as usual brightness.
1. T43 2668-B97 14" SXGA+ 1.5G RAM 9cells
2. X60s 1703-CA3 powerful

What operating system? I know ubuntu has a setting in power management that dims the backlight when idle.

I think that's a new feature of the recently released power manager.

think i found the solution:

Power Manager -> Global Power Settings-> Enable Dynamic Brightness Control.
- Shut down/ start up
- Logoff
- Screen lock / switch user
- Screen saver
1. T43 2668-B97 14" SXGA+ 1.5G RAM 9cells
2. X60s 1703-CA3 powerful
