WTB: Russian T40 Keyboard

#1 Post by oaaltone » Tue Jul 29, 2008 9:06 pm

I'm looking for the Russian keyboard for a T40. IBM's parts list shows the following FRUs: Russian 08K5063 13N9850

Any ideas? I couldn't find them on the Lenovo parts website (http://bit.ly/3rSsfa)

Buy a set of Russian keyboard stickers from e-bay. They work well. Get yellow (not red) because it shows up well on the black keyboard.

That's very strange... because as you say, the US IBM Parts and Maintenance site does not have this part... but the Danish IBM Parts and Maintenance site do have this part (enter in the field: "Kender du partnummeret (FRU)?") and at a very modest cost; only DKK 215,83 (ex. VAT) or DKK 269,79 incl. 25 % Danish VAT (the US is approx 4.75 DKK, so e.g. 270 DKK translate to approx. USD 57). Try call IBM/US and ask for an explanation/order help?

How spooky?! :?:
