T30 slow startup booting

Hello,

My T30 is slow in booting though I have installed latest BIOS version..
I did hard disk defragmention but still it is slow..

Here is the configuration

Genuine IntelPentium 4
Memory 256Ram
OS Windows XP Professional
Bios date 06/16/2006
Hard drive 25GB

processor speed is what?
what version of windows do you have installed?

at first glance the culprit might be insufficient RAM ... 256 is way too little even for win2000 sp4
ex: T30, TR451, TR453, R51, R52, X40, X60, R61, T400
X200 - P8600 2.66Ghz, 3G, 250G
G50-70 - 3558U 2.4Ghz, 4G, 1T
