SOLD: ThinkPad X22 in excellent operating and very good + cosmetic condition with great upgrades.

*Image removed*

The LCD is fine with no bad pixels and I installed a newer fast 40GB hard drive, so it's quiet and fast. The battery is new (original IBM made in 2005, but first used this month) and lasts several hours. The RAM is maxed out at 640MB.

I am very detailed with my descriptions. There are only slight cosmetic issues, 1) some keyboard shine, 2) some light scuffs on LCD cover, 3) small repaired crack in Infrared port cover, the cover is on the lower, left side of the computer, I doubt anyone would ever notice, 4) three 2-3" scratches on palmrest (see pictures).

This is a nice fast, cool running X-series machine!

Full spec.'s below.

Reduced to $169 delivered in the U.S. PayPal, USPS money order or cash accepted.

Product: ThinkPad X22 2662-95U
Original description:
Pentium III-M 800MHz (512KB cache)
128MB RAM --> now 640MB (128MB onboard, 512MB stick)
30.0GB HDD --> upgraded to newer 40GB 5400rpm 8MB cache (fast and quiet)
12.1 XGA (1024x768) TFT LCD
Ethernet (CDC) 10/100
Modem (MPCI)
CompactFlash memory reader slot
PC Card slot
Two USB 1.1 ports
VGA out connector
Internal microphone
Audio out/microphone in connectors
6 Cell Li-Ion battery --> NEW! 1 cycle!
Win2000 COA
AC Adapter (56 watt, genuine IBM)
Laptop weight is 3.5 lbs.!

I will also include a mini-PCI Broadcom B/G wifi adapter. If you want to try an internal wifi upgrade, you have to remove the mini-PCI modem and buy some antennas to route internally in the X22. Some members have done this already, it's not too difficult.

Note: X22's do not have internal optical drives, but any external USB optical will work for booting or loading software.

That looks like a lovely machine, Ed. I have one exactly like it except for XP and an internal wifi upgrade. I bet it runs quite nicely on Win2k. Good luck!
