if you're interested, i've got a kingston 1gb pc2700 module (KVR333S0/1GR). not sure exactly when or where i got it. i think it's ok, but i'd be happy to send it to you to test. if it works, you could drop $20 (?) in the mail back to me. newegg lists these for $50 right now for reference. if you find that it's doa, you could just toss it.
