Hello, I keep on getting Delayed Write Failed errors in XP Pro. The error balloon also says something like Lost work, cannot save to m$sft or something like that.

I read up on this. I have X41 with that slow HDD. Is my HDD going to die?

Even the 1.8" HDD is slow, I've never seen this error occurs on the internal drive...

Have seen it on network drives and external drives (USB/FireWire) through...

Run a disk check and see what you get.

Run the Hitachi Drive Fitness test on the hard drive.
