T20-3com Combo Network Card won't install drivers

Hello
I've been working on a used T20 laptop I picked up to add to my lineup of Thinkpads. The T20 has the 3com combo card with 10/100 and 56k modem. For the life of me I can not get the drivers to work with the card. I've contemplated dumping this card and finding the Intel/Lucent card that was in the T22 laptop since it should work. If anyone has any ideas let me know. I've worked/sold/owned dozens of ThinkPads and never had this problem before. Thanks
