ALL SOLD: IBM/Atheros A/B/G Mini-PCI wifi adapters pulled from T41's. Should work in any T4x and several other ThinkPad models.

PLEASE NOTE: THESE ARE TRI-BAND ADAPTERS "A" AND "B" AND "G" !!!

FRU P/N: 91P7301

$27 delivered in the U.S. (add $1 for delivery anywhere else on Earth). PayPal, cash, USPS money order accepted.

It must fit in R40 (2681) without Bios hack (Led + FnF5 working)

It must do WPA 2 (important not WPA1 but 2)

802.11g (for 54Mbps)

For you, the adapter is free. However, my research time runs $300 per hour. PM me for a quote. (Or, you could try the card for $28 delivered to Luxembourg.)

O.K. This time the research is free, this post states that WPA2 is "definitely and positively" supported by this adapter. (The adapter is no longer free, though

I'm a rank newbie to Thinkpads. I have a T40 refurb with the Cisco a/b airnet. I would like to go to the Atherors a/b/g. Can you advise.
