Is it weird that my T61 says "Thinkpad T-series" on the palmrest, but has the old "IBM Thinkpad" logo on the corner of the LCD shell?

I had it serviced after I bought it because the plastics on the LCD weren't attached around the front. It took them a month to get it done because they were waiting for parts, and I suspect they might have taken a never-used shell from an old model Thinkpad.

Doesn't really bother me. In fact, it makes it unique. But it's kinda funny. Wonder if anyone else has a similar mutt T61.

You can get the Thinkpad or IBM logo depending on the where the computer came from - the how it was distributed, through a corporation, retail outlet, etc.
