What is my 600E worth?

#1 Post by Mr_Roboto » Tue Aug 12, 2008 10:59 pm

I am looking to sell an upgraded Thinkpad 600E and I am having a hard time pricing it.

Specs
13.3 inch screen (bright no, funny colors)
500MHz P3 CPU (Upgraded)
512MB pc133 Ram (32MB on board is disabled)
10 GB HDD
CD Rom
External floppy
10/100 Ethernet card
54G wireless card
The battery still holds a charge
All of the plastics are in fairly good condition

Not included
The AC adapter
Operating system

My guess would be $100-120. It's possible to obtain T2x machines in the $130-180 range now.

If you still have the original cpu, offer it on the side. That'll make it go quicker. I'd ask $100 plus shipping for it. Value of the 600E and x is on par with the later T20.
ThinkPad T60: 2GHZ CD T2500, 3gb RAM, 14.1" XGA, 60gb 7k100, Win 7 Ult
Latitude E7250: i5 5300U 2.3ghz, 12gb RAM, 12" 1080p touch, 256gb SSD, Win 10

I'd agree with that. I just sold my speedstep 600X machine with similar accessories (except no HD, no wifi, but with DVD and AC adapter) for $150 shipped. Cosmetically good-very good shape. I felt that was a fair price and I avoided any potential problems (i.e. Ebay) because it went to a reputable buyer. I'm going to miss that machine though...

Thank you for all of your feedback.

I do have the original CPU, although I cannot remember its speed. I will install and test the original CPU and then put everything up for sale.

Thank you all.
