SOLD:
Bare T41 motherboard with common loose GPU problem. This motherboard just started to develop the freezing / crazy video problem. It only occurs when you flex the palmrest, the problem never occured with moving or even shaking the T41 - only when you put a slight flex on one side of the palmrest. It never had any trouble booting up. It actually took me a while to realize this machine had a problem.
It's an ATI 7500 GPU motherboard, from a T41, exact machine model 2373-QU8.
Anyway, I swapped in another motherboard so I have this bare one ready to go for a repair attempt. All peripherals have been removed, including modem CDC, processor, base cover, etc.
$29 plus $5 for good packaging and shipping in the U.S. (or $29 for local pickup). PayPal, USPS money order or cash accepted.
Are you good with a heat gun?!
