Do You Peel the Stickers on Your ThinkPads??

#1 Post by denisky » Fri Aug 15, 2008 11:14 am

I peeled those "Designed for Windows..." and "Intel Pentium bla bla bla" stickers on my thinkpads. Of course I didn't peel the "IBM ThinkPad" stickers.:D Now my ThinkPads say "I am an IBM ThinkPad... the rugged and reliable machine...", and not "Intel & Windows bla bla bla".

Not only it looks cleaner and simpler now, it gives me the feeling that no matter what processor it has, as long as it is good for me, then it's good. Everytime my friends ask me about the processor used on my ThinkPad, I answer, "It is not important whether it has 1GHz or 2GHz, as long as it fulfills my daily needs in computing". My friends tend to show off their machine with the latest processor by keeping those stickers on their machines. I admit that I have slow processor, but I feel that I don't need the fastest processor for my needs. Unlike my friends who has the latest Intel C2D machines but use it mainly for chatting only. What a waste.
