Fan noise with USB headset/microphone

Hello everybody,

does anyone have experience with using USBn headset/ microphone together with Skype internet phone in a T41p? Whenever I plug ub the device a clattering noise starts. Could it jut overheating? The noise gets worse when I bring the PC in an upright position to figuere out where it comes from.

My wife is using Skype with a Plantronics USB headset on her T41p without any problem like you're describing, so it's not a general thing.

Thanks for the hint. I gonna try one of the PLanatronics then ... maybe prob solved then.
