T60 SATA Winxp Driver Problem

Hello there, I got a problem with my new hard drive.

It is a Hitachi Travelstar 7k200 200GB and I reinstall winxp system using compitability mode. After the install, I installed Intel Matrix Storage Manager and ran the install.cmd file in the C:\DRIVERS\WIN\IMSM\PREPARE folder and then recovered to AHCI mode in BOIS. The system booted up without problem until it detected the new SATA hard drive and asked for driver. I followd the instructions to direct the install program to the specific folders. I have tried both

C:\DRIVERS\WIN\IMSM

and

C:\Program Files\Intel\Intel Matrix Storage Manager\Driver

However, the driver failed to install. Now in my device manager, there is a yellow exclaimation mark on my hard drive icon and it says:

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28 )

However, the other than that, the systems seems ok and the intel Matrix Storage Console indicates the hard drive is running normally. It says the driver version is 7.0.0.1020.

Does anyone know where the problem is? and how to solve it? Cheers.

p.s. I am using Winxp pro + sp3
