TP 600e Display Problems

#1 Post by Guest » Tue Dec 28, 2004 5:44 pm

I have gone through two laptops with the same problem. They work fine for a while and then out of the blue the display is really hard to see. I have read lots of info on the subject and i know it's most likely the inverter card. Can anyone tell me what this card is, where it's located, how do i get to it, and how to replace it. I'm desperate and this is my last resource so... I would greatly appreciate it if anyone can help me!!! Please post or e-mail me. Thanx

HI. Firts off, the inverter card can be found on ebay around 10 dollars. The part itself is underneath the lights on your keyboard below, the screen brightness slider. If you have never taken a thinkpad appart it may not be so easy. I take theese appart all the time and I can swap the part out in about 5 mins. Check the link below for the part.
