I have received a second batch of these systems. Please see my new post: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.ph ... 486#449486
I have a good friend who has several 15" T42p 2373-P64 laptops. Each comes with everything but hard-drive, hard-drive cover/caddy, memory, and AC adapter. Battery condition is unknown.
Here are the specs:
PM745 (1.8GHz), 15" UXGA(1600x1200), 128MB ATI FireGL T2, 24x24x24x/8x CD-RW/DVD, Intel 802.11b/g, Bluetooth/Modem(CDC), 1Gb Ethernet(LOM), UltraNav, Secure Chip, Fingerprint Reader, XP Pro COA
I have not seen these and do not know the condition but am told that they are all in pretty good shape. I am willing to check out the condition, test them and sell them to forum members for $250 each shipped in the USA ($280 shipped to Europe). Because the demand is pretty high and to be fair to all, I will probably need to restrict these to one per person.
PM me if interested.

From what I can tell, the 2373-P64 looks like a CMV based off of 2373-Q2U with a different CPU, different HDD (not included in this case), and no OS license? So in addition to no HDD, HDD cover, RAM, and AC, there is no Windows COA affixed, correct?

EDIT: I now see in your original post that it mentions an XP Pro COA (missed it completely), which is interesting since Lenovo eSupport site does not mention any OS for this configuration. Sorry for the confusion, though...

Yikes - you may be right. That's the one thing I 'assumed', not having seen them.
Based on my experience with IBM/Lenovo, they will be accurate and there is no OS sticker attached - BUT I will have an answer (and post) sometime after 9am Pacific time.
Sincerely -- Bob

Re: T42p's
I am not sure how many of these systems are there - I will find that out by thursday for sure. I know that I have 17 people "in line" already.sergi0 wrote:are there any left? I might be interested:)

If you are interested, please PM me. To be fair to all, I am putting requests in line ordered by the time I receive a PM.
The earlier in line will get the better choices if it comes down to the condition being significantly different. I will be sending out an email by thursday - so please give me your email address with the PM.
Thanks -- Bob
