blinking wireless status indicator

#1 Post by Jungsta » Wed Dec 29, 2004 1:07 am

I just purchased a T42 recently, and I noticed tha the wireless status indicator continually blinks all the time. I went to the Access IBM help, and it states that it should only blink when data is being transmitted. Does anyone else experience the same problem that I am having? My wireless indicator blinks all the time.

So does mine - but I've never noticed any problems - perhaps it's just lighting up as and when there's a change in the frequency or there's interference?

it blinks exactly like an ethernet status light -- as in, it only blinks when data is being transceived.   don't worry, the LED won't burn out. ;)

Mine blinks erratically and constantly, and it always has. It blinks when I am doing nothing, and it blinks when I am downloading. The speed and connection is always 100% solid, and it never fluctuates. I guess it's supposed to blink... :?
