It's my 1999 Ford Taurus SE Wagon (V6 Vulcan).

Might need to see more of the engine to see where the other end of that hose goes, but there is no clamp around where it meets that cyclinder, so more than likely it is an air transport hose, possibly for emissions or vacuum? Can you post a wider view?

I also posted a thread on TCCA and they help identify it as the a/c accumulator. The whole package with hoses cost about $70.
