Bluetooth antenna has to go in screen assembly?

Please pardon me if this is repetitive, but if I do not have a pre-installed Bluetooth antenna (my model is a 2373-6VU which I don't believe has the antenna), does it necessarily have to go in the screen? Can I buy the antenna, plug it into the CDC, and then stash it somewhere under the keyboard, or is it too bulky?

The antenna should already be installed. Pop the keyboard off and look by the CDC for a connector marked BT.

AFAIK all of the T42s have the BT antenna installed from the factory.

I dont think they all do, i think my T42 is lacking.

But I believe this list, from August 2004, is out of date already.
