WTB - good cheap used laptop

Im looking for a friend. Something in the 350-400 range. Software isnt important as i will handle that. Just some good hardware. A, T, X, R, G, or I. I dont really care on the style.

Got an older p3 brick you want to part with?

Look for either a 570E or a 600X, those both have Pentium III's and good reputations. If you could go up one or two hundred dollars, you might find a good deal on a T21.

He might be able to swing a T22 for $400. I just bought a used T22 for $300.

I got a bit of a deal, but i've seen them go on ebay for $400+... so he should conceivably be able to find one for $400 around here somewhere.

Check out compgeeks.com. You can get a t21 pIII 800, 128ram, 20gig hd, dvd rom and swappable floppy. It says it's grade B which means minor cosmetic imperfections, but it comes with a 90 day warranty. You can't really beat those specs and that warranty. Doesn't come with an OS, but it's still a good deal.
