Wireless Network Help Please!!!

#1 Post by chris301up » Mon Sep 01, 2008 8:35 am

Hi.

I have recently purchased an IBM ThinkPad T30 with Windows XP Pro installed.

To enable access to the internet I purchased a PCMIA wireless lan card which, although working fine, tends to be a little unsightly as it sticks out on the left hand side.

Can anyone advise if there is another card available which can be installed as an hidden integral part of the laptop?

I am new to using laptops and although I have trawled through many internet sites I cannot find the information required.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

well as long as you have the internal antennas installed it would be pretty straightforward to install a mini pci card in the slot on the bottom side of the T30 underneath the keyboard.

Thanks for your reply.

How do I find out if there is an internal antenna fitted?

I don't have a manual or anything like this so I really don't know what to look for.

Thanks

Chris
