OCZ SSD core series on X61s

Howdy!

I've red last thread about issues with OCZ SSD core series, but I’m still confused. Will OCZ SSD (32GB) work fine with my X61s or will not?
Is there any other (better?) 32 SSD available in Europe for comparable amount of money?
Does anybody knows when core series V2 drives are going to be available and how expensive are they going to be?
