T61 Battery Error

Hi All,

My wife's T61 has the following error:

"A batter error as occurred. The battery cannot be charged. Replace the batter."

I switched out her 4cell batter for mine, and the problem went away and showed up on my laptop. I haven't tried doing a reset on it yet, am I SOL, or is there a fix for it?

If it's less than one year old, it is covered by Lenovo's warranty and they should replace it.

As luck would have it, it's 1 year and a couple months old ... anyway, guess we're just out a battery.
