Can I delete Rescue & Recovery "RRbackups" fol

#1 Post by jrgilman » Tue Sep 09, 2008 10:23 am

I have an R51 Thinkpad and I use Rescue & Recovery to make complete backups to a bootable external harddrive. I also have recovery CDs if I ever wish to bring my system back to its original state. I also use the Client Security Solution for managing my passwords. I notice there are many files in the RRbackups folder including many security related files. Can I safely remove this folder since all my backups are made to an external drive? Or is this folder also needed for the Client Security Solution? Thanx.

Jim, I think I was told that the only way to touch that protected folder is by removing the R&R program, and then reinstalling it later if you want to use it again.

This is one of those years when I'm beginning to miss DOS, the [censored] Operating System which I know I stopped using long ago for good reasons.<G>
