Wireless card failed after 3 years

#1 Post by chsu74 » Tue Sep 09, 2008 10:52 am

Anyone out there experiencing their Sierra wireless card failing after 3 years. I am disappointed at the quality.

I also have a X40 that is performing flawlessly and its an older machine.

My Sierra is in its box, because I upgraded to a Sony Ericsson card. It is over 3 years old and continues to perform.

One thing about those cards: In the documentation (at least for the Sony card) it says to be *certain* to use the proper Eject sequence because voltages on the card can damage it over time if ejected improperly. So I am always particularly careful on this point. ... JDH
