Looking at buying an X24

Hey guys.

I'm a recently converted Thinkpad nut. I own 3 600-series laptops and love them all, for various reasons. I tend to peruse Craigslist (I got my first 600E there for 50$ in pristine condition), and tonight I see someone is selling an X24 with base and functional battery for ~$150. Is this worth it? I love the small form factor and its got a 1.13Ghz processor (an upgrade over my 750 600X) and 640MB RAM... not too bad. But just curious what everyone elses take is.

If it's in good physical condition it's worth it. Make sure that the battery is good, and haggle if it's not. I haven't been too pleased with generic X2x batteries from eBay...

As I mentioned elsewhere, I am really enjoying my X24 now that I've started using it again. I'd probably rather have an X31 for the P-M and the USB 2.0, but the X24 is a nice machine with some decent power in it, for the size and price. Very portable and if it's in good shape the looks still draw compliments.
